They both look male with the long trailers but that where my knowledge regarding sexing ends. Dusty also doesnt have much red/orange in the belly area.
Reason why im asking is because they both clear gravel out from under the woods and are always together. When I first introduced them into the 150 they would bicker all the time and locked lips once.

I believe they are both male. I'm not the best one for sexing Dory, but Dusty the HRP is 110% male. My male HRP moved a lot of sand in my tank away from driftwood and rocks at one end in the last 2 days making a nest. He's been courting the 1 inch(EDIT: shes probably 2 inches)female. Been digging holes everywhere but they finally settled on one end. They're gonna be mad when I vac out their eggs. I'll try to get a pic of my females for you. One is normal coloration and the other is colored up for breeding. You will see a distinct difference from the male in both. Also the size and shape is quite different. You might be able to catch a glimpse of them as well in the vid I posted last night.

My female festae had very long trailers in the fins so I wouldnt use that as an indication if a cichlid is male.

Here's some female HRP pics for ya. I put these 2 back in the tank a week or so ago. Looking for homes for them since I don't really want fry all the time to deal with and the disruption in the tank from 2 fish trying to hold down a breeding nest. Chaos already ate the males other girlfriend about 6 months ago. As you can see they are quite different from the males in both colour and size. The pictures really don't do their colours justice of course as with most fish pics.
Regular coloration

And the other female that the male has taking a liking too in breeding dress
