He ate fine in qt which was almost 2 weeks. First few days he ate hexshield, then moved him to nls and algae max mix did ok but once I then mixed in oo kelp pellets. Hes been in the main tank for 3 days first day it was either algeamax or reg nls.

Similar is with the argentea but only diff is jow he only want the oo

new tank, would mean that he's still getting used to his surroundings, and I wouldn't worry about him not eating.

Omega One Kelp is fine....no need to fight it.

I love the Omega One kelp pellet except for its tiny size. While my pearsei will eat a couple it prefers pellets like a 4.5mm NLS floating or the Omega One medium cichlid. I have let Omega One know I wish they made the Kelp pellet in a medium floater and they actually acknowledged me and sent a reply thanking me for the suggestion. If you are interested in a product let the manufacturers know.

this guy is really getting pushed around and has some missing scales on his right side... Didn't eat again today but looks like he cleared of a ton of algae on the big dw... atleast hes earning his care and being useful.

Getting pushed around and missing scales would cause him to stop competing for pellets.

Adding just the one fish into an already establish tank is pretty stressful. Ive tried different tricks like adding the fish at night in the dark and awoke to a fish that got beat on, moved decor around and still had a fish beat on because the decor was the same stuff just in a different spot. You would have to seriously mess with their little world and put all the fish on even ground. This may include removing all decor for a while or pull out the aggressor and put them in time out for a week and introduce them back in as the newbie.
