So I've been asked for pictures and videos of my Ozzy and Sharon a few times now so I figured I'd start sharing some of my pictures while I wait for my videos to upload to youtube (now that I figured out the problem...should have turned off the wait for wifi tab) I guess I'll just start out with some shots of the whole tank room. My favorite room in the whole house :-)

My Ozzy and Sharon

I can't believe how attached I've become to these guys already...don't tell the rest of the pets but I think I like the Oscars best :-)

That is pretty cool, the Oscars have some serious color on them. I was trying to figure out the cage set up on top of the tank to the right of the oscars. I assume it is for turtles to get out of the water, but have never seen that before.

I love their colors...I can't believe how much personality they have now that they are getting healthier...yea the cage thing is my home made egg crate and plastic canvas turtle topper for my Ms Bittie...she thinks she's a snapping turtle...I found her on Craigslist for free and had to help her...just her shell is 6 inches from head to tail and she was in a 29 gallon tank less than half full her whole life...she had out grown her turtle dock so she wasn't able to dry off for years and has tons of retained scutes because of it and had slight fungus growth around her neck...she was only being feed turtle pellets everyday with occasional cricket no fruits or veggies so she was extremely overweight...we got her right around the time I got the 130 for the Oscars so as soon as they got out of the 55 she was moved into it...it took a few weeks but she eventually started eating fruits and veggies but she absolutely hates that she only eats every other day now...she is slowly but surely loosing weight and can suck her whole body into her shell...she is also finally shedding her shell scutes now that she has uvb lighting and can get dry...she's constantly banging the deco around in her tank scratching her shell and scaring the crap out of me...I swear one day she's going to break the glass

Her original tank set up

Her first time in the 55. I ended up removing the fake grass she came with because it just got in the way when she was eating and the food got stuck in it.

I ended up moving her tank to another wall by the oscar tank so i could drain it out the window like I do the Oscars because it was a pain draining it into buckets and added an extention to the sides of the topper after I found out she could use the ramp to reach the top of the tank and almost climbed out while I was getting her food out of the drawer.

I think she likes the camera

That would be my favorite room too. Looks great. You are definitely an aquaholic. If I could get rid of the TV, I'd fix my tank room more like yours. Just a reminder ... great job on rescuing those beautiful oscars.

The turtle is really cool, and that is really innovative solution to the problem. I don't think I would have ever thought of doing that.

I think about knocking down the wall to the sunroom all the time just so I can have more room for tanks the whole way around with a big indoor pond in the middle for the turtle and goldfish :-)

I love turtles can't wait till I can foster some. The egg crate I just happened to have laying around from building a false bottom for my hermit crab tank and just thought I wonder if that would work...I've had to redo it a few times but eventually it worked

Wow little momma awesome layout. I'd never leave the room. Very cool and I mimic unc, so awesome what you did foe ozzy and Sharon. They are so fortunate that you came into their lives. They are very cool looking and I'm sure their personalities are coming to life with all the new elbow room and better water conditions. Those colors will most likely get even more vivid also. Can't wait to see the videos of them. Very innovative on the turtle tank also

That's an amazing fish room. I would probably just sit in there after work every day with a laptop and a glass of wine.
