Our little Charlie passed away this morning. I feel blessed that we had him 16 years, he will never ever be forgotten...

So sorry to hear about your Charlie :(

16 years is a huge accomplishment for a pet it proves he was loved and well taken care of.

The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

Sorry to hear that boss. At least you had a long time together.

Maybe an excuse for a new itty bitty kitty ?

Haku, I knew your were good.

Yes, he was extremely pampered all his life. The whole family absolutely adored him. Even though I am extremely Sad he has gone, I am also left with the thought that he did have a very good life with us, you can't ask for more.

Sorry about your kitteh Penn :( I'm a huge cat lover myself, so I can relate to how you feel. The last cat we got before I left home was on deaths door a couple weeks ago, but for reasons unknown used one of her 9 lives and is still with us, she's about the same age 15 or 16 years old.

I'm glad you were able to give him 16 great years of a happy life. I don't think the pain of losing a close friend like a cat or dog will ever go away, but with time it will get better.

sorry to hear that is sad and we all know you loved Charlie greatly as you have mentioned him on here before and he looked like a lovely cat. Its always good to remember the good times and I always think with my little Stumpy now she has gone that it was an honour to have known her and spent my life as part of hers I think you should feel the same way about Charlie you were honoured to be his family.

Although the lost of a cat is very heartbreaking and I still miss both of mine that I have lost.

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)

We are taking him over to a pet crematorium tomorrow. In about a weeks time we will bring him back and scatter his ashes in all his favourite haunts around the garden. He'd love to sit in the garden at the front of the house and soak up the sun, I can see myself getting upset the next time I am out there in the sun myself.

Putting him in a place that brought him so much joy. I can't think of any better ending to an already cherished life.
