From what I understand by your posts you have decided to purchase the 55 gallon, which comes with a wooden stand, and your tile floor isn't level.

I'm no carpenter, but I would think it would be easier to level if you put the stand directly on the plywood, and then shimmed under the plywood.

Ok so I have baught things in clist a few times but always local never had any problems ...this time i figured oh what the hell i went to look at a few tanks in new jersey. I will never buy anything on Craig's list if its not in my city ever again! What a waste of time i drive around all day and nothing that I saw was what these idiots actually listed! So just picked up the new one that was on sale (thanks Goranothos for that one!)

Probably an impulse buy outn of frustration and dealing with a bunch of losers

I also grabbed a ac50 how long would that take to get BB growing in it ? I have it running on the 40gal tank with two bags of bio max in it also threw a bag in the ac110. A few weeks ago I threw in a little bag of bio max into ac110 is that enough to kick start the other filter ? ( I think its the bio max for like an ac20)

Is your 40 gal fully cycled? Do you get 0 ammonia/nitrites when you test?
