Ok, so we are moving to a new house in 2 weeks so if there is something else you feel I should do, I will need to know soon. How should I go about moving my multiple tanks/fish for only a 10 mile move?? Here is what I was thinking, let me know if it will work:

1. Have numerous food safe 5 gallon buckets with snapping lids that I will siphon tank waters into and place fish into for the move.
2. I will dig out substrate and put in another bucket of tank water
3. Was thinking of putting decorations and filter media into another to try and save as much BIO as possible.
4. Should I get some sponge filters running to help cycle tanks after move?? Will they need to re-cycle even??

None of the fish are large, yet, biggest is 6"...

You have it pretty much covered. Your filter media is most important, for sure keep that in tank water. Fish will be fine as you have planned. Substrate and deco not important, your bb is all in the filter media. Good time to give deco and substrate a good rinse anyways. If you refill tanks, add fish and get filters running in a reasonable amount of time, you should be all good. You have several hours to get this done.
