I'd put him in his new digs man, it's nice and clean and everything. . .gives him space to heal. LOL

Very nice tank, If you feel confidant about the cycle on the filters, I would go ahead and move the fish. He will almost certainly put up a fight and incur other minor injuries in the move. You might as well let them all heal at once. You should actually get someone to video the transfer, because with a fish that size, it will probably resemble a day at the water park. Best of luck and congrats.

You could probably squeeze on more in somewhere. I have 5x75, 3x55, 125, 50, 2x20, 36, 29, and a 40. My wife said every one was the last, but I still have to get a couple of big ones, so I will let you know if I end up divorced.

Plants = good. B)

I would lay that heater down horizontally........you will get better heat dispersal & if you forget to turn it off it will still be submerged. It also looks like you have one of the suction cups attached to the heating element......I would advise moving it off of that so it doesn't melt.

Also, & you probably know this, but when you add gravel it will raise the water level....I assume that's why it isn't filled up all the way....just FYI.

Helluva tank, Frank!! B) Welcome to the "Big Boy" Club!!! (Tanks 125GL & over!!!)
