Bought 2 baby oscars home. Its been 4 days. They are both very shy. Only come up to eat then goes back down and hit near the heater tube. The water testing is good. Water temperature is good. Is this normal? They were really active at the shop. Today i got another baby red but will take him back to the petshop as one of the two oscars are bulkying him. At one stage they were lip locking. Funny enough its only the one fish thas annoying the new one?

thnx for the reply. Yeah i ran it for a week before introducing the fish. i know dome will say cycle it longer but a guy gave me some bacteria stuff. API quick start, allows fish on the same day. But i was using stability and stress coat.he told me to stop using the stability and use the the quick start. He same same same but different. Then this sunday i stuffed up. Did the water change because the syphon thing took heaps of water out. Then i went and risen the filter internals under a tap. Yesterday the water testing was poor. Too much amonia. He said (diffetent)to keep adding the bacteria doesnt matter which and the water conditioner.
