Looked all like 3 points there on saturday for the Magpies and BANG........ let a flaming injury time goal in to drop 2 points....DAM !!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I went to the LFS and got some cracking beautiful plants. 'Alternanthera pink' and some very well rooted Amazon swords. Came home and took all the other ones out and removed the lead strips......

Will pop up a photo later mate take care..... Jamie

Well better safe than sorry. Grrrrrr. lol

I took all the plants back out of the tank and got small pieces of broken clay pots and used a rubber band to loosely tie and weigh them down. Then repositioned them in a tank along with some new plants.

As I said better safe than sorry....

When i still use plants, i roll them in a thin piece of foam, tie them together with a rubberband, and put them in the claypots.
I stick some stones around those to make them fit tightly and weigh them down.

but i guess that advice is a little late now, since you did all the hard work allready...

btw Jamie, you plants look wonderful and i cannot see where the plants end or where the background begins.
And that's a good accomplishment.:)

Hi matt, I have wondered what happened to TonyT myself. He had the thread of his tank in the wall project and then he just dissapeared.  :S

The last time I spoke to TonyT he had found himself a woman. lol
So what with the girl in his life and his whole in the wall project, he will be kinda busy....

I think it really depends on what fish you are keeping and more importantly how much water you change a week. In my tanks i chage 50% every week. The amount of water changes will reduce any lead in the water from a low amount to an even lower amount. Any lead leaching will be low and with a decent water chahge schedule this will be kept low and probably wont affect your fish

Remember some houses still have lead water pipes and people dont get lead poisioning

I can't get no sleep
