the one of my son a few posts back?
if so, that's mostly perch with 1 or 2 bream mixed in.
we don't filet those. just scale 'em, cut off the head, and gut 'em.
then fry them whole. boney lil suckers, so don't eat them too fast.
takes about a dozen to make enough of a meal for 1 person.

Just found this topic!

Has anyone been catfish noodling, never done it but defiantly would like to try it. Partly because it has noodling in the title.

I was thinking about it, but backed off when I heard about the possibility of losing a finger to a snapping turtle or geetting bit by a copperhead. I'll stick w/ a rod & reel, thanks.

I agree, I certainly wouldn't like sticking my hand into a hole when you're not quite sure what's in there. I have seen quite a few programs about noodling and all the guys are covered in scars all over their hands and arms. Nope, I think I will stick to rod and line, much safer

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

i have this little soft shelled turtle.... when she was just 1 inch size, i
don't mind being bitten by it.... but now at 3 inches size... it drew blood
in my fingers... :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

I want some walleye used to catch em when I lived in nebraska but there aren't maany here in south carolina
