Gazza created the topic: I Need Help

MTS has taken a strong hold :woohoo:

Apart from my 185 gal + 55 gal sump ( I guess thats 2 tanks lol) and my project Bare assed 105 gal + 55 gal sump ( in progress same plumbing as my 185 call thats 4 tanks :pinch:
and a standard 6 foot tank Very soon to house 2 baby eastern water dragons

Got my reptile permit now :) :woohoo:

I have a coastal python hatchie friendly little bugger but found my screw ups with the 6ft tank and promptly escaped  :pinch:

he is in the house some where but only being 2ft long and as thick as your finger can hide anywhere

which brings me to an extension to MTS I'm planning to build a acrylic fronted snake enclosure approx 5ft x 4ftx 2ft for my next coastal python ( escape proof till he learns we are friends ) daily handling from hatchling ;) )

after word got out @ work I had a snake loose in my house and a brief chat I had 2 more tanks offered to me :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

a 3 footer ( great for breeding mice ) and another 4 footer ( maybe rats ) SNAKE FOOD B)

SEEE SEEE

I need HELP lol

:pinch:

LOL. Gazza.... You need more help than I can give you... I have 12 new baby fish coming next week, that will make 6 tanks for me. Hubby and I are acquiring a Ball Python (7 tanks) and we are talking about a 5th dog....

snakes the ultimate escape artist. but hey they got nothing better to do when theyre not eating. we had a small garden snake. ribbon i think. she got out 3 times. one time i found her under the couch. i had given up then zoom there she goes right next to my foot. another she got outside somehow, i was sure the neighbors cat would get her. found her curled up by the door a few days later. after the 3rd escape we found her a home with carrier, i couldnt figure out where she was getting out and recomended her to a home with snake experience lol

and oooooh i want a water dragon so bad. we're thinking about covering the o's current tank into a dragon tank after we get them into their new tank.
water dragons are just so pretty and they stay that way i think they get even prettier when they grow up.

Check in your bed - this crappy weather we are having might drive him to somewhere warm if he has not already escaped your house.

Yes Gaz, you have a problem...a wonderful problem.

Both my brothers were seriously into herpatogoly (spelling). One time we were all away in the caravan with my elderly Nan before she died. My brother caught an eastern brown snake to take home. It escaped in the van and turned up late one night in my Nans sleeping bag. She was about 80 but not phased at all!

I am not moving on to MCS - more cages syndrome. Since Chrissy we now have 5 birds - I got them all in standard bird cages but the LFS had a great sale on big cages so I just bought two of them and plan on getting a third - I hate seeing them in small cages...

I betcha there are other members out there with MCS..

No snakes!!! My son wants one, but we have 2 box turtles(which are supposed to be his) & I already clean up after them! So, who do you think will have to go out & get mice & clean up after a new addition? I don't want to have to go out & get mice!!

But anyway, good luck w/ that loose python in your house. (That's another reason I don't want snakes in my home)

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.
