Here in Nebraska I ice fish for bass and cpappy. Ice fishing here is very slow but it gets me out of my wifes hair on the weekends.
I also Float tube fish in the spring at first ice off for Bass and crappy.
I keep my boat and camper 150 miles south in Kansas on a large lake where the real fishing is. I'll troll for Walleye, Bass and Wiper. Most are going to be about 14" to 18" on a good day.
I also like to get to Colorado once a year to fish river trout, 8" to 10" is a good trout.
Next year I'm planning a fishing trip up to South Dakota hoping to target larger Walleye and Northen Pike.
Most of my fishing is catch and release, I'm mainly in it just to meet new fish. But if I land a really nice fish I'll bring her home. B)

I would go with you, you don't get a better fighting fish than a carp.

Well, the biggest one we caught was actually 27 kilos, and that would be 59,50lbs...
So i guess that record is broken by far, for i now of even bigger carp getting caught in france nowadays.
Between 40 and 50 kilos, and just for the record they grow a little oner a pound a year, so those fish are very old.
Most we catch are presumed over 30 years old!

The 44 pound British carp record stood until 1980 when it was broken by a 51 pound carp taken at Redmire Pool by Chris Yates. I believe that the British record is now just over 60lb

Apparently this is a new world record taken in France
