Hey Nate. Very nice setup you put together. I thought I chime in on your flow problem with you overflows. I have the exact same pump you're running, and initially had issues as well w/ the overflow keeping up. Mine's a single 1-1/4", however mine's just straight open pipe (I really dig the clean look of your design though, very nice). My initial info. indicated 1-1/4" should be more than sufficient for the mag5, but was disappointed when it appeared not to be. I found however that the problem was bleeding the o.f. properly. To get them flowing at full capacity you have to get ALL the air out. Once I got that done I've had no problems running the pump full blast (prob. about 350-400 gph factoring head height). I noticed on your video you're not using check valves on the drains, & imho based on my personal experience, getting them fully bled w/o them would be extremely difficult.

I can't make any promises, but that was my experience. Given the small price for the valves I think it would be worth giving it a try.

Thanks! Certainly worth a shot and easy enough to test out.
