I suck on the check valve and air and water comes out, what did I do wrong?!!
And i tried to prime it by sucking air out of the check valve but I get the exatly same gph- 180-200, I took off hose and it doesn't even siphon, a pathetic stream of water drips out very slowly.......should I start over from scratch?

unless I put the check valve in the wrong place....take a look.

is it too in the middle? I couldn't connect 2 90degree elbows together because of my glass thickness so I added a little piece of pvc for it to fit.

probably a busted check valve or it is in backwards. It's hard to tell from the pic

Water will come out the check valve but once you get all the air out, air can not go back in through the check valve. Water won't continue coming out of the check valve once you quit sucking...
