Yeah, it actually turned out better then I imagined. I am very satisfied. I like this better then wood stands. all it cost me was 15 bucks for the paint since I had everything else lying around the house.... :)

Thats a sexy looking stand youve got there. Im looking into building a stand for a 75 gal tank im purchasing soon. Might possibly be adding an overflow pump system under the tank eventually, so im wondering what would be the best way to make that area easily accessible but still build an effective stand.
Any pointers?

You could go 3 high on the cinder blocks and don't put a shelf on the first layer to make more room from the floor to the first shelf. Then you would have plenty of room under the stand for the overflow. Also you can go to lowes and buy shelf boards already the size you need and painted already. There pretty cheap around the 10 dollar range. So I would go 3 high on blocks then you would need 2 shelf's.....Make sense? You can also get creative with whatever color scheme you wanted..
