So I'm just curious.... when you log into the forum, where do you start?

Do you start with "My topics" to see what else has been added to threads you've already posted on?

Do you start with "Recent Topics" and see all the threads?

Personally.... I always start with "My Topics". I like to keep up on the threads I've already posted on and be able to continue the conversation. I'm afraid if I start with "Recent Topics", I won't make it to the threads I've posted on, or I'll forget and not actually read the thread! I'm embarrassed to say I don't read all the posts!

So... take the poll... what's your routine?

Well i always start in Recent Topics and if theres more new posts than fit on the main page i then go to the forum and work from the bottom up. Its amazing how much good advice you can get from reading other peoples threads :)
Btw i`ve never even seen the `My Topics` buttton till now, thanks Brooksie!

Really good question Brooks(ie). ;)

................

I usually start with "Recent Topics", I click on the first thread from the top that I have something to contribute too (by right clicking on the thread and clicking on "open in new tab") Then I reply to that thread. ...... Then in that same tab, i go up and click on "My topics". So now i have 2 seperate tabs. (one is recent topics and one is my topics)...
... Next I go through all of "my topics"... then i go back to the recent topic tab and look through those. For me the key is to be able go to threads that have the (new posts) next to it. That is one of my favorite aspects of this forum actually.

Well thats my basic routine. But sometimes I do mix it up. :cheer:

I normally have a quick nosy and see who is online, and how many new members we have had joined up. Then I'll have a look in "recent topics" and see if there's anything that I can help with. Most of the time you don't see any unanswered posts unless someone has just posted. I started this site back in 2006, I was the first member but it seems everyone is overtaking me now, I'm feeling like I'm being left behind :-)

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

I usually start at "my topics" to see if I need to respond to someone, then recent, after all of that I just roam around. I spend honestly hours a day on this site. Learn a lot on here. :)
