latest pics...they have doubled in size and are extremely fast now.lost about five to unknown reasons. overall doing quite well. they are moving up to finley ground brine shrimp flake with their cyclops.

the calvus are all sparring today so I would expect more fry in about 3 weeks. Afew test pics trying new soft ware. the long pic is about 7 feet of the new tank.

the males are the obviously bigger ones, they get darker when showing aggression.every ones loves the 8 foot tank, lots more floor space for the sifters.

Those are the Bismark Frontosa, the Kigomas got too big for the community setup. too many fish were getting to be bite size, no losses just removing the temptation. Bismarks Come from the Southern tip of the lake and have very nice colors. they have a taller body shape and no gold in the dorsal fin, only 6 stripes and the black bars extend into the dorsal slightly.

when Ad Konnings was at the convention he talked about these and said it reallt is a debate on if we should even have to names for these fish or both be fronts and just have one with the sp. designation..

spoke on evidence of them being one colony at one point...

he said it was something he did not have the answer to yet lol
