So I've been setting up my shellie tank and its almost fully cycled. I bought some shells from a crafts shop, but I don't think that they are going to be big enough for the shellies to live in. I'm having a hard time trying to find shells with an opening that is at least 1 1/2" to 2". Its driving me crazy! I've searched ebay, local stores around me, and even online stores as well. Everyone sells them that only have 1/2" to 1" opening. I don't want to get the little guys stuck in their shells! Any ideas or website that I can visit that have them that are bigger?

Shell dwellers are pretty small, I know that golden occies don't get any longer than about 2" so I wouldn't expect them requiring an opening that large unless they wanted to swim in sideways  I think 1" should be sufficient opening assuming they shell length is about 2", possibly a bit longer.

I'm not sure where you are but a very common shellfish sold here in Brixham are whelks. Their shells really do resemble some of the snails that you find in Lake Tanganyika. I think they are probably a similar size as well. You should find a shellfish retailer and see if they have any shells they could let you have.
