My saltwater nano :)

Tank: 12"x12"x12" cube (about 7.5 gallons)
Lighting: par38 12K 21 watt bulb
Filtration: Aquaclear 20 with chemipure elite and phosguard + about 8 lbs of live rock
Flow: koralia 240 and maxi jet 404
Heater: hydor 50w

Fish:
Ocellaris clownfish (Larry)

Corals:
Bicolor Frogspawn (not fully opened in these pictures)

Hairy Mushroom

Ricordea mushroom

Plate (likes to smoosh up against the glass and then move away from it the next day)

Radioactive green zoanthids

Purple zoanthids, eagle eye zoanthids, and another kind that idk the name

Rock with eagle eye zoanthids, green zoanthids, and idk the other kinds name

Yellow palythoas

Looking to get a little yellow clown goby to go with Larry here soon and also some more coral of course :P
I started the tank on August 21st so it's almost to the 4 month mark and it's doing great! it's definitely more difficult to keep a reef tank, especially such a small one, but it's so full of life that its extremely worth it. I'll answer any questions if you have any :)

Thanks everyone! These pictures were taken on my iPhone 5 and they turned out really well.

Ehall - I started this because I've always had an interest in saltwater. I want to go to college for marine biology so I figured a saltwater tank would really help me decide whether I really would love going to college for that and it has done just that! I'm WAY more interested in it now and I've learned so much over the past few months. When it gets closer to moving to college I'll probably sell most of the livestock in the tank or trade it for equipment for future tanks. Corals can be very expensive so I could probably make a pretty penny selling my corals once they grow more.

I'll keep updating this thread with new pictures and such when I add things to the tank :)
