40 gallon saltwater tank for sale for $200. Items include: tank, stand, glass lid, lamp, pump, heater, sand, live rock with Kenya tree corals, 3" Picasso Triggerfish, light timer, power strip, fish food. I will deliver and setup for an extra $50.

It seems ok but I would look for a protein skimmer to go along with it. It makes things alot easier.

it's the water that scares me, when my parents had a marine tank they had to put in a ro unit. is that necessary?

Had a 30 gal tall marine tank 30 years ago, and it was great until it sprung a leak.Back then you just had an under gravel system an maybe a hob. With all the info available today, you should go for it. I don't think the Huma is the right fish for that size tank, but you could enjoy for a while and possibly trade out later. If you want salt, it looks like a decent deal.

No, an RO unit make RO water for your tank but they are expensive and costly. They waste so much water compared to what they make. Most LFS sell RO and even salted RO water cheap so you can just take a 25 Litre barrel and fill it up
