jnet created the topic: cloudy eye I know not again

Im asking again because I'm going to attempt again to cure my poor EBJD of his cloudy eye also my new puffa was also showing signs of cloudy when I got him and its got worse since I have had him. So what is the best thing for them?

I have moved both into my 120litre tank because I'm guessing this will be better place to treat them. I was going to move my mollies but one has got very fat and looks kind of ill again. So i'm thinking the whole tank could do with meds :)

Now heres the history what I have used previously; Melifix, primfix, anti internal bacteria and anti internal parasite both by interpet. The current tank has salts added and doing daily 20wc but my nitrates are sky high in tap so not sure if that is making matters worse rather than helping.

Anyway heres the vid we all like those and hopefully we can get some new eyes on the case as it were I really dont want to have fish with bad eyes Esp when I had hoped to maybe get a female JD for Mr JD :)

so any help or advice welcome should I try things like melafix again nothing ever happens really not much improvment if any. Jillifish was helping me out but the things she has recommended I have had trouble finding here in the uk. It just makes me sad that the are ill.

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)

Hey JNET. I dont know much about cloudy eye. Dad O injured his eye a long time ago and as it healed it got progressively cloudier. Not sure if he is totally blind in it and it isnt really milky but def not like his other one.

I have not treated him at all so I cant help you...

Is it in both eyes on both fish?

both on EBJD was one but its got worse over the 8mnths or so that I have tried to get rid of it and the puffa its only in one eye but I would rather it in none of his eyes he uses them to find food if he goes blind I dont think he will last long :(

I'm living my life, but not necessarily in the right order :)
