Mayhem created the topic: issue with fins

My tank is cycling
Ammonia 0
nitrite 0.25 it was 5.0 yesterday
Nitrate 20 it was 5.0 yesterday
Temp is 86.5 (high due to finishing ick treatment, which is doing very well - almost done with the 10 day high temp treatment)

Yesterday my O had a white blotch on the back end of his dorsal fin. Today that part of his fin is missing and there is a small white blotch on his tail fin. See Pics.

What's going on? Any ideas of what it is?
My pleco and JD are totally fine, no blotches or missing fin parts on them.

Looks like an issue that could be borderline Fin Rot... For now I would just watch it... Good water quality should fix it...

Your cycle is almost there! :)
