Nipsy created the topic: Oscar Acting strange

My Oscar is swimming around with his mouth open shaking at the bottom of the tank and picking up rocks. What could this mean? He only does this for a little while then he goes back to normal. He also seems more aggressive. He usually swims as if he is happy when I go to the tank. Now he swims toward like hes trying to attack me with his mouth wide open. What could this all mean? Thanks!!!

This would mean your Oscar is maturing, and that he is defending his territory...

Completely normal behavior!
