Jvangoor77 created the topic: Oscar stroke?

A few months ago I noticed that one of my oscars face was a little crooked.
It must've happened overnight...but it looks like it had a stroke.
The one side of his mouth is crooked and a little droopy.
It hasn't affected him in any way. He is still very active and eats properly.

Any ideas of what this could've been?

I`ve seen pics of other O`s on here with crooked mouths but their owners usually say they`ve been like it since birth. It seems odd that it happened overnight so maybe its an injury of some sort?
If it was a dislocated jaw from crashing into the tank wall it would be painful and more than a little crooked. Post a pic maybe someone can help more :)

The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

If there's more than one in there, they might have been fighting. My Oscar was always the only aggressive fish in his tank, but with my Africans, when they were younger and not so territorial, they were together. I witnessed a fight that made me separate them though. They would go after each others mouths and gills. It was vicious. I wonder if Oscars fight the same way?
