It could well be. I'll give her a week and see if daily w/cs clear it up.

My O still hasn't quite figured out that he can manipulate his environment. Adie will be going mental throwing sand around everywhere, and my O Henry will go to where she was, look at the sand, then just poke his face into it repeatedly then swim away covered in sand and looking confused.

The other thing I'm wondering is if the SDs are nipping her when she chases them away from her 'nest'. Mine seem a bit more boisterous than most silver dollars and they're all in "I WANT TO MAKE BABIES" moods lately - they certainly nip each other regularly.

Who knows, this is my only tank that has more than 1 fish in it and it's gotten really silly lately. I need dithers to break up the aggression between my dithers, my sev thinks my O is her boyfriend and has aggression issues towards the SDs, my O can't stand up to either my sev or my SDs and my SDs keep fighting each other (and maybe beating up on my sev!).

It's all just gone horribly wrong :pinch:

That party needs a bouncer Lam. Toss an RD in there, give everyone a little attitude adjustment. Kidding of course, but a common theme with community tanks. Always a troublemaker in the mix.

I may not be the Boss, but I'm ALWAYS right!

Oh man... Ok so my partner tried to get pictures but his phone camera's just not good enough to show up much of anything (and my phone's camera is even worse).

They are more obvious when her colouration is dark during feeding, but she zips around too quickly to get good shots of her.

Henry, as always, wasn't very helpful.

Edit: @Dave: I know right?! What RD should I put in there? :P If I group them by mental problems I can choose between anger issues, ADHD, brain damage or narcissism.

I can see them in the first picture pretty well. I wish I could tell you what they are, but I'm not sure. Someone should have some idea what they are. Keep us posted on their development and if anymore pop up.

Great looking sev btw.

Thanks! She's turned out pretty well from how ill she was when I got her.

I'll update if they get worse but in all honesty they probably look even better this evening from what they were when I woke up this morning so I'm not *too* concerned.

Edit: Henry says 'hi'

Edit edit: she's all dark now because it's food time and the spots look a lot better than last night even, so I'm thinking they're probably just scrapes that have gotten a bit of a bump on them for some reason :) I'll keep an eye on her but I think I was probably worrying about nothing again.

Just an update - these white marks look much improved from yesterday, but Adie has a nice new obvious scrape on her left side. I'm going to hazard a guess that these white marks are from her scraping herself on something :pinch: but nothing to worry about, I don't think.

Did a 50% w/c today anyway which made Henry and Adie think it was Christmas, because apparently w/cs these days = play time for those two. Henry's also gotten tame enough over the past month or two that during w/cs he'll come up to you and my partner and I can (gently) pat him on his head. Don't do it often though (don't want to damage his slime coat), but it is super cute.
