Techsystem76 created the topic: Oscar tiger fish help

My Oscar is in a 155 gallon tank and he has gotten a very huge belly that looks as if he will explote. He is about 10 inches long or 12 eats only 4 -6 fish sticks a day. Im very worried please help they keep fighting him, my parrot keeps biting his lip and he bits his too. But Oscar was most of time at the bottom now he is just at the top of tank.

My advice (hope you will get more from experts) is to do not feed him with those pellets until that belly goes off. Probably he has a problem as obstipation. Try and give him one peeled pea. One of my previous Oscar's had that and only after several days with no food and trying to feed him peas he accepted the pea and on the same day he expelled a large poo and his belly came to normal.

Best of luck

Would like to see a pic of the fish. Could be a blockage, possible to clear, could be a tumor, fatal.
