Sorry Mate,

The big Tiger Oscar I've had for 3 years picked up some HIH

since I've beaten this with every other bad boy, following accepted pratices.

Thought I'd post up and get the second tier advicce

NEW THINGS
well, not alot. he has a tank mate now, a real nice parrot, they've been together 7 months, hit it off, Id; say

Been on this years batch of home made food for a month.

No beef heart this time, a good bit less mammilian protein, ( beef liver chicken liver, and some buffalo burger) but a good blend I thought.

mebbe extra shrimp , misc ocean cuts stayed the same really not a huge diff.

still with some nits, change water to control it. I'm on a well with decent purification once out of the ground

new stack has been up for 6 months, same show, just with a couple fresh 75, and changed to a single sump and filtration gig. really low maint, great bio and mechanical setup (wish the sump was bigger, needs evap makeup every 2 weeks) BUT, I wonder if the middle tank, which is a community, is putting stressor pheromones into the water.......... Crazy??

anyway, well fed, non stressed, stable tank with new onset HIH on a 13" tiger

Thoughts welcome, sorry for a first post on a profoundly covered topic........

call me lazy,

Ok, is this one of those forums where its impossible to link an image unless its on photobucket ??????????????????????

Photo bucket is really easy to use the post a photo. It would be helpful if we could see a photo of your fish.

Have you tested the water, what are the results?

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)
