Safe to feed fresh shrimp from grocery store?

I was wondering if it is safe for my Oscar to eat fresh shrimp from the grocery store it's jumbo white shrimp to be exact and if so how often can I feed him that?

Yes, I use grocery shrimp quite often. Do not use Tiger Prawns. Use raw, not cooked. Not too much, a weekly treat. Shrimp is rather pricey, if that bothers you try a white meat fish. All my gang likes Tilapia. The quality pellet still should remain as the fish's staple feed.

i do love shrimps too... that is why i used to buy them in bulk...
i cut the head and freeze them for my fish... all the meaty parts for me...
shrimps head is packed with thorax and anthaxin for color enhancement

its safe for oscar to consume the prawn's head? Will try that out
