The first picture of nessie is terrific. I like birchers. Are there any that don't get so big? Like maybe 6 in. max?

EDIT: I mean Darwin. Nessie is nice too.

Senegals are said to get up to 16" but those are only wild caught. Captive bred usually get to about 10" max. Albino Sens seem to stay small, Ive never seen one bigger than 8". There are also some man made 'short bodied' versions.

Truthfully they are logs. Not much more than the driftwood in your tanks. Almost as exciting as a pleco. :laugh:

When they do move around or come out... they are cool.

Yep, very active. In fact after I figured that out and started feeding after the lights went out, I noticed a huge amount of growth in my weeksii.
