Heat & salt......CL's are scaless fish & are VERY sensitive to meds. Mine would get Ich occasionally & H&S works the best. ;) 84F & about a TBS for every 10GL should do the trick.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.

They said those were blues? Hmmm...They are beauties they look a lot like mine, but mine weren't called blue. Ken is the only one who would know for sure though. I love the CL's, I would love a school of them but they get way too big for any tank I can have. Sadness.

Yeah, they are blues. Not the "bluest" blue angles I've seen but they are definitely blue. Notice the blue-greenish hue in the upper area of the fish? If they weren't homozygous with the pb (phillipine blue), aka "blue" gene they would have a brownish to tan tone instead. The big one looks to be carrying a dose of Gm (gold marble), hence the random black markings on his right side. The smaller one is also a pearlscale. My guess is that if you got them from the same tank at the lfs they are most likely siblings and the bigger one is also carrying a single recessive pearlscale gene. Hope they are doing well!

Here are a couple photos of one of my favorite blue silvers...
