It depends how big the tank is. A male Flowerhorn is more aggressive than a female also. It can work in a big tank.

Can you give all the dimension of your tank. 6'x2' is usually bigger than 58 gallons.

big chance the FH could kill the Oscar just so you know .. a divider should be ready if you are going to do it and the tank must be at least 6 ft long tank and 2 foot deep... I do not advise this but people do what they want anyway so just keep it all in mind

a 58gal tank is not going to be big enough he does not have a 179... I do nto know what he means by 6'2 but it is not the dimension of the tank like we think

I remember he had to small of a tank for all the o's he had originally I think like 6 in a 58 gal

Many a 6 foot tank is not big enough for a FH.

There's a simple answer to that question......No.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.
