smellymeatballs created the topic: quick question

So in the 40 originally before I got the oscar, I had a fully planted boesmani tank, with corys, and danios. Something happened with the water and killed off most of my boesmanis, and I was left with two. One male one female. I swapped the danios and corys to a 20 gallon so that I could get the oscar. I left the two rainbows in the 40 with the oscar for a while, but I know they do much better in fully planted tanks, and I removed most of the plants in the 40 because I know oscars love to destroy for fun lol. So I moved them to the 20. I will be upgrading tanks soon, because keeping boesmani in a 20 is just mean. They love swimming. But my question is I have always wanted a blue ram. Would he be able to Co exist with rainbows? The male is known to be a bit feisty at times.

Rams and Rainbows should be ok together. Rams need ultra clean water, very sensitive to anything less.

Yeah everything I have read on rams says that, but I am pretty good about keeping up with water changes. Especially since Pablo the Cory will be in the tank with it, and I would he quite unhappy to loose him. He is a fantastic little Cory lol
