Well another idea would be to add a large lava rock that I know the weeksii loves. In fact I had removed it because I never saw the fish because it was always hiding in it. I had it with the pleco at one time and I know he does not like it...

Picture is of my old gold dust bichir who got kicked out when the weeksii came along. The hole is pretty large and goes all the way through the rock. I know it would help but I hate the red lava rock against the light sand.

Those guys look great! I would hate to get rid of any of them.

I love the Rhino, but you know your tanks, so it is probably the right call. Best of luck in your decision.

Thought I would add a bit of an update. The aggression seems to have slowed way down, because I have a feeling the Rhino pleco was 'taught a lesson'. I woke to find a side fin really torn up. Likely a night time battle with one of the bichir. The fin has healed up pretty nice but a bit shorter than it should be. The tank however has been peaceful so Im thinking the pleco got schooled and things are okay for now. If it heats up again I have a friend who wants the pleco.
