Okay not surprising. Weird things can wash up into rivers.

I have heard of stories like this before, I read in the Sea Angling magazine a few years ago about a Marlin or a swordfish that was seen jumping off rocks somewhere in Britain. About 50 years ago these to catch a lot of bluefin tuna of the east coast. It was due to the massive stocks of baitfish that were present at the time. However, they disappeared and the tuna soon followed and were no longer caught there.

I may not always be right, but I am always the BOSS :-)

I am not that surprise with tuna because they live in cold area but now they are overfishes. However I do not know the range of tunas like bluefin but I have an open mind that they will come to UK, but not as common as basking sharks.
