My tankWell the gt's were there only temporarily, i actually just moved them. And the oscar and the lab have been together for almost 2 years now, with no problem at all. The oscar has a real mild temperment. My mean oscar is in a tank by himself, and the agression is why. They get along great in the tank, and are happy, healthy, and colorful. If anything, the yellow lab is actually the more agressive one of the tank...it picks on the bigger kalingo giraffe i got. But theres no problems with any of them.
My tanknice tank but the yellow labs dont belong with the oscars and gt,s because they require different water parameters, have completely different diets and there aggression levels are different.
My tankThis is my main tank. It currently houses my long-finned oscar, a kalingo giraffe cichlid, a yellow lab, and 2 very small green terrors. The terrors are only here temporarily, they will be moving to my 110 gallon soon. And again, sorry for the poor quality, was taken with my phone.

baby oscarshi , i am getting 2 baby oscars from some one at very good price, but the problem is that i dont have another tank ready right now , can i house them in my existing tank in which i have few goldfishes and carps for few weeks till my another taknk is ready . the babies are about 2 inches in size adn my tank is 2.5 feet long . main concerne is that will the babies or my existing fish may harm each other???
Oscars 2nd livefeeding 07312010.wmvLOL --- I used to do that, until I had 4 oscars die from intestinal distress due to a combination of the live food + too much food. I learned my lesson.
Good luck though, it is fun watching them eat something alive. I hope they stay healthy and alive for you.
