Moving Tropical fish and tank!

When I have moved my fish... ( And I have moved them SEVERAL times)
1.I get a BRAND NEW plastic outdoor garbage can...
2. Fill half way with water, add Fish to container.
3. Stop Canister filter.
4. Place inlet and outlet in trash can. (you can buy a power inverter to plug things in into your car) so you can keep your fish and good bacteria alive.
5. Turn canister back on...
6. Drain tank.
7. Remove substrate
8.Move tank and stand to Truck
9. Carry fish out
10. Carry canister out.
11. Here I pug the filter into a power inverter so the filter runs while I am driving..
12.. Drive to destination
13.. Set stand and tank
14. Fill with Substrate
15. Fill with water add prime
16 Move Canister to tank
17. Place PISSED OFF Oscars back in tank
18. Laugh at sulking...
19. Drink alcohol as reward (I had to repeat this 6 times…) I sure hope this helps.
